Birds' eye view of the recently completed storm water pond adjacent to Pennsylvania Avenue by Sea Colony. The project was a cooperative effort between the Delaware Department of Transportation, The Center for Inland Bays, and Sea Colony. Benefits include improved storm water runoff, elimination of the slip ramp previously allowing traffic to exit Route 1 at higher speeds, and improved aesthetics. Next stage improvements will include a water feature and upgraded landscaping/signage.
