The Sea Colony Sharks swim team is committed to fostering a community-focused swimming program that promotes teamwork, builds confidence in the water, and provides the competitive training necessary for swim meets.

 

Affiliated with the Delmarva Swim Association league, the Sharks welcome swimmers aged 5-18. The team is made up of Sea Colony homeowners, renters, guests, and the local community. We offer both winter and summer teams, with preseason training

and year-round conditioning.

Sea Colony Sharks Swim Team Coaches

Coach Janna

Janna is currently the head coach for the Sea Colony Sharks.  She was a competitive swimmer, swimming for R.M.S.C. and Curl Burke in Potomac Valley Swimming, MCSL summer swimming, Walt Whitman High School and Bucknell University.  She has over twenty years experience coaching and instructing swimming in Maryland and Delaware.  Janna is available to give lessons for beginner to advanced level swimmers of any age.  She is American Red Cross certified in CPR and AED for the professional rescuer, Lifeguarding and First Aid.

Coach Johanne

Johanne has over 25 years’ experience in swim instruction and over 18 years as a USA swim coach. She currently serves as the Sea Colony Sharks swim team coach and is certified in CPR, AED, lifeguarding and first aid. She also holds the safety training for swim coaches as well as a certified USA Swim Coach.
