Sea Colony Guest Badges

Sea Colony guest badges are required for all renters and guests (ages 4 and older). A valid guest badge is required to use any of the recreational facilities and amenities at Sea Colony, including the private beach, indoor pools, outdoor pools*, tennis & pickleball courts (reservations required), amenities at the West Lake Activity Center* and Aquatic Center*, Edgewater exercise room, Freeman Fitness Center, and the Sea Colony Tram Transportation System*.

If you're renting through Vacasa: Badges must be picked up at the Vacasa Rental Office upon check-in.

If you're renting through a non-Vacasa agency (owner direct rentals, AirBNB, VRBO, realtor, etc.): Badges for everyone in your party ages 4 years old and older must be purchased immediately when arriving to Sea Colony. They may be purchased at the Sea Colony Beach Shoppe, located at 33548 Market Place, Unit #4, Bethany Beach, DE 19930. Please note: for all non-Vacasa rentals, you must show your rental contract and owner authorization letter when purchasing badges. Badges cannot be purchased without these documents.

Sea Colony Rental Waiver

All Sea Colony renters, off season members, activity/program/event participants and daily facility users are required to complete the Waiver of Liability. The waiver may be completed prior to arriving at Sea Colony, or may be completed in person at the Sea Colony Beach Shoppe. Note: if you are renting through Vacasa, this waiver will be completed as part of your rental agreement with Vacasa.

Parking

Sea Colony Parking Passes

Sea Colony parking passes are issued based on the number of guest badges purchased per unit. Each unit is allowed a maximum of 2 parking passes per rental period.

1-2 Badges = 1 Parking Pass

3+ Badges = 2 Parking Passes

Town of Bethany Beach Parking Passes

1-Day, 3-Day, and 7-Day digital parking passes are available for purchase and can be used in any pay-to-park space, except on Garfield Parkway. Pay-to-park is enforced from mid-May to mid-September. Passes can be purchased for same-day use or in advance. Users must create an account to buy passes. For more information visit https://ctitt-bbeach.cticloudhost.com/.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

• East Phase II and West Phase XX have installed electric vehicle (EV) charging ports for use by all Sea Colony Owners and Renters. These charging stations are managed and maintained solely by the respective phases and are not a Sea Colony Recreational Association (SCRA) sponsored amenity. For authorization of use, rates, or questions/problems pertaining to these chargers, please email evchargingsc@gmail.com.

• There are four (4) Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations in downtown Bethany Beach. The chargers are universal so that all makes, and models of electric vehicles can utilize the service. Visit www.townofbethanybeach.com for locations and fees.

Animals/Pets

Renters or guests are NOT allowed to bring pets onto Sea Colony property even with Sea Colony owner permission. Renters or guests bringing pets onto the grounds will be in violation and will be required to immediately remove their animal(s) from Sea Colony. An exception to this policy are service animals. Please read the Reasonable Accommodation Policy for more information regarding service animals.
