
Summer Group Fitness Classes & Info
Stay active and energized with our group fitness classes! Whether you're just starting or aiming to take your workouts to the next level, our certified instructors will guide you through fun, effective sessions designed for all fitness levels. Classes take place at various locations across the community.
Homeowner pricing:

$5 per class

Non-Sea Colony guests and daily users:
-
With a group fitness membership or if utilizing the house account option: $10 per class
-
Without a group fitness membership/drop-in: $20 per class​
​PROCEDURES​

To register for a class at the Freeman Fitness Center, call the Fitness Center at 302-539-4511.
-
Classes at the Freeman Fitness Center are available to Sea Colony Owners, Renters, and Local Residents.
-
East Side Classes are available to Sea Colony owners and renters only and are just $5/class for homeowners. Pre-registration is not required for East Side classes and payable by cash or card when you arrive to the class.

Patrons will not be permitted to attend class 5 minute after start time.

Non-Sea Colony people who are “local domiciled residents” (which means: live year round or seasonally, or rent seasonally, or own a residence) in Sussex County, Worcester County or Wicomico County may not use a free owner-provided guest pass.

Class Descriptions
All Levels Interval Training

Upbeat interval training format utilizing a variety of items like Bosu balls, hand weights, medicine balls, steps, bands etc.
Aqua Zumba

Blends Zumba movements with water resistance for less impact on your joints. Don't miss this pool party!
Barre Toning

Strengthen your core and muscles with small movements repeated multiple times for muscle group fatigue. All exercises can be modified for fitness level.
Beach Boot Camp

Get ready to sweat, tone, and energize with our Beach Boot Camp! This high-energy, full-body workout combines strength, cardio, and core exercises — all with the sun, sand, and sea as your backdrop.
Beach Yoga

Fun and challenging class fusing Pilates and Yoga. Burn calories, tone your muscles and get a great stretch.
Cycle 45

Simulated flat and hill riding using LifeFitness and Keiser spin bikes for speed and endurance. Lead by certified instructors.
Core and More

Targeted toning exercises to strengthen your core, improve flexibility, and build endurance. This low-impact, high-result workout engages your core, legs, arms, and glutes for a lean, strong body.
Gentle Yoga

Fitness through stretching, balance and core postures.
IPATH

IPATH is a mix of myofascial release and trigger point therapy that helps relieve back and body pain.
Water Aerobics

Low impact, shallow and deep water resistance training that's easy on joints and muscles for a total body workout.
Pilates

Pilates mat class that involves muscle toning, sculpting and controlled movements that enhance your balance, core strength, mobility and flexibility.
Stretch & Tone

A low impact, low intensity workout that will tone your muscles, increase your range of motion and flexibility, and help relieve stress.
Yoga For All

Learn the basics of yoga through low intensity poses, breathing exercises and core work. A great workout for everyone!
