Day 6: Doubles Champions Crowned, Singles Final Awaits

Championship Weekend is officially underway at the Troon Pro Women’s Open at Sea Colony! Saturday delivered two exciting singles semifinal matches and an outstanding doubles final as players battled for a spot in Sunday’s championship match.


In singles action, No. 5 seed Eryn Cayetano outlasted Bella Payne in a thrilling three-set battle, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5, while top seed Madison Brengle defeated Kylie Collins 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 to advance to the final.


The doubles championship match capped off the day as Savannah Broadus and Kylie Collins captured the doubles title with a 6-0, 7-5 victory over the top-seeded team of Eryn Cayetano and Haley Giavara.


Now all eyes turn to Sunday’s singles championship match as Madison Brengle and Eryn Cayetano face off for the Troon Pro Women’s Open at Sea Colony title beginning at 11 a.m. at Sea Colony. Come out and watch an incredible finish to an amazing week of professional tennis!


Thanks to the continued support of Troon, the United States Tennis Association (USTA), and the Sea Colony community, the Troon Pro Women’s Open at Sea Colony continues to bring world-class tennis to Bethany Beach. Running through Sunday, May 17, the tournament features top women’s singles and doubles players from around the world competing for valuable ranking points and a share of the $30,000 prize purse.


Admission is free to all matches and the public is invited to spectate! Join us on Saturday, May 16 for the doubles final and Sunday, May 17 for the singles finals.
