Day 5 is complete and the Troon Pro Women’s Open at Sea Colony is officially back on schedule! After a week of weather delays and packed match days, Friday featured outstanding tennis and set the stage for an exciting championship weekend ahead.

In singles action, Bella Payne advanced with a 6-2, 7-5 win over Hannah Klugman, Kylie Collins battled past Maria Florencia Urrutia in three sets, and top seed Madison Brengle and No. 5 seed Eryn Cayetano both moved into the semifinals.

Doubles play wrapped up in dramatic fashion as the No. 1 seeded team of Eryn Cayetano and Haley Giavara advanced to the final with a 7-5, 6-1 victory over Kaitlyn Carnicella and Jane Dunyon. Savannah Broadus and Kylie Collins also earned their place in the championship match with a dominant semifinal performance.

Now all eyes turn to the weekend! Look carefully at tomorrow’s schedule — both singles semifinal matches will be played simultaneously, followed by the doubles final as championship weekend gets underway at Sea Colony.
