The Weekly Five (7/4-7/11)

1. Beach Chairs:

  • Can you reserve beach chairs in advance of your stay?

  • We do not do pre-reservations of beach equipment. Once you arrive at Sea Colony and pick up your badges, you can proceed to one of the beach concession stations and the crew will be more than happy to get your rental taken care of for you. There are three stations - Annapolis, Edgewater, and Island.

  • What is the difference between lowboy & high back chairs?

  • The high back and low boy chairs are both aluminum-style beach chairs that can recline. The high back sits up a little higher, like a normal beach chair, and the low boy chairs sit almost directly on the sand.

  • Where do I find pricing information for the beach equipment?

  • Pricing can be found at seacolony.com/beach-equipment and in the 2020 Play Book.

2. Is the badge fee daily or weekly?

The badges fees are between $12-40 per person, depending on the time of your stay. The one-time badge fee is valid for your entire stay. We do not have a "daily" badge fee.

Badge Fees Summer 2020

01/01 - 05/01 $12

09/12 - 09/18 $20

05/02 - 06/12 $20

09/19 - 12/31 $12

06/13 - 09/11 $40

3. Is it possible to purchase badges and parking passes in advance? As a renter, you must come to the Beach Shoppe to purchase/receive your badges and parking passes. When you come in, please bring a copy of your lease/letter from who you're renting through. You can fill out the waiver ahead of time, which will save some time when you get here. The link for the waiver is seacolony.com/waiver.

4. Are the pools and the beach open? Are local restaurants open for inside dining?

The beach is open, along with 10 of the 12 Sea Colony pools. Check seacolony.com/pool-schedule for schedules. Local restaurants and all facilities are operating under social distancing guidelines. Many local restaurants are offering indoor seating, outdoor seating and takeout. Select locations also offer delivery.

5. When I try to sign in to the Owners’ section of www.SeaColony.com, I keep getting this message: "This session has been invalidated. Please attempt to sign in again or follow this link to contact support so that we may provide assistance." I tried resetting my password and it wouldn't let me save.

This error was an unexpected side effect of some AssociationVoice server maintenance last week. To resolve, some community users may need to clear their browser's cache. A work order was sent to the software developer for the Owners’ section of the website. Following are instructions to fix this problem. While there are instructions for either Google Chrome or Mozilla FireFox browsers, the same process works for Edge as well:

To clear your GOOGLE CHROME browsing cache:

  • Press control/shift/delete keys simultaneously

  • A box Clear browsing data will display

  • Click on Advanced

  • Select a time range of All Time

  • Check ALL boxes EXCEPT passwords and other sign in data.

  • Click the Clear Data button

  • The Settings page will redisplay once the process is complete and you can close the browser.

  • Now restart Google Chrome and reload your site.

To clear your MOZILLA FIREFOX browsing cache:

  • Press control/shift/delete keys simultaneously

  • A box Clear All History will display

  • Time range to clear – select Everything

  • Click all boxes EXCEPT Active Logins

  • Click the Clear Now button

  • The History page will display once the process is complete and you can close the browser

  • Now restart Mozilla FireFox and reload your site.
