BEACH EQUIPMENT
Equipment rentals are available May 25-September 8

Tired of hassling with your own beach equipment?
Don't want another summer of dragging your umbrella and chairs back and forth across the hot sand? Try renting your Sea Colony umbrella and chairs from our beach attendants! Just stop by one of the beach equipment stations and our staff will set up your equipment at the start of the day and break it down when you're finished for the day. You'll relax in style in our comfortable chairs under a nice cool umbrella. Rent for a day or for the week. You rent them, we set them!​

Note: beach chairs and umbrellas are available first-come, first-served.

For your safety...

Only trained staff may handle and install our beach equipment.

For safety reasons, when there are strong winds at the beach, it is necessary to lower ALL umbrellas and tent canopies. The Beach Captain or their representative will have the authority to decide when this action is necessary.
Chair rentals at Edgewater will be available for $5 for the Bethany Beach fireworks display on July 4th at 7 PM!
Need assistance getting on and off the beach?
Sand wheelchairs are available at the Security Desk in the Edgewater House Lobby free of charge. Availability is on a first come, first serve basis and we ask that they be returned to the Security Desk when not in use so we can meet everyone's needs.
The wheelchairs are cleaned according to CDC guidelines before patron's use.
