$30,000 Troon Pro Women’s Open Returns to Sea Colony May 11–17, 2026
Professional women’s tennis comes back to Bethany Beach
Bethany Beach, DE – Rising stars of women’s tennis will compete in the Troon Pro Women’s Open at Sea Colony, a USTA Pro Circuit $30,000 event, May 11–17 at the Sea Colony Racquet Sports Center.
The tournament brings high-level professional tennis to one of the East Coast’s premier racquet destinations, with players competing for WTA ranking points on Sea Colony’s clay courts. The event includes qualifying rounds, singles and doubles main draws, and is free and open to the public.
Past participants include top Americans Jessica Pegula and Danielle Collins, along with a strong list of players who have advanced to Grand Slam competition. The event continues to serve as a proving ground for emerging talent.
Fans can expect a competitive field of established pros, rising Americans, and international players. Special events throughout the week include:
Introduction to Red Ball Tennis Happy Hour – Tuesday, May 12 at 5:00 PM
USTA Kids’ Day – Wednesday, May 13 at 4:30 PM
Wilson Demo Day – Friday, May 15 at 2:00 PM
“Tennis is part of the fabric of Sea Colony,” said Gene Cutter, Tournament Director. “This event highlights both elite competition and our commitment to growing the game at every level.”
