Day 6: Singles Semifinals & Doubles Final: 2025 Troon Pro Women's Open at Sea Colony




What a Saturday at Sea Colony! Day 6 of the Troon Pro Women’s Open featured thrilling tennis and a championship-worthy atmosphere as the tournament nears its close.


The singles semifinal between Ayana Akli and Fiona Crawley was a true battle, stretching nearly three hours in a high-quality, back-and-forth contest. After dropping the first set, Akli fought back with grit and determination to win 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-3 and secure her place in Sunday’s final.


On the other side of the draw, Ana Sofia Sanchez delivered a composed and confident performance, defeating Jada Robinson 6-3, 6-3 to earn her spot in the championship match.


Congratulations to Ivana Corley and Jaeda Daniel on capturing the doubles title! They earned a hard-fought 6-4, 7-5 win over Haruna Arakawa and Haley Giavara in a competitive and entertaining final. A fantastic match and an incredible finish to an exciting double draw—well played, ladies!
