What a day at the Troon Pro Women’s Open at Sea Colony! After a rain-filled start to the week, players, officials, and staff powered through an ambitious schedule Tuesday to get the tournament back on track. From qualifying battles to exciting Main Draw matchups, the courts were busy all day long with high-level tennis and plenty of determination on display.

The day featured several standout performances, including No. 3 seed Haley Giavara’s 7-5, 6-4 win over Anita Sahdiieva, Kylie Collins’ straight-sets victory over No. 6 seed Antonia Vergara Rivera, and Bella Payne’s impressive upset of No. 4 seed Mell Reasco Gonzalez in two tiebreak sets. One of the most dramatic matches of the day saw Daniella Sales battle past Isabella Marton 3-6, 7-5, [15-13] in qualifying action.

A huge thank you goes out to our incredible umpires and tournament staff for their hard work, flexibility, and dedication throughout a long day of play. We’re so proud of the effort from everyone involved in making it happen.

And we’re not slowing down yet — Wednesday features another packed schedule with 12 singles matches and 8 doubles matches on deck as the action continues at Sea Colony!

Thanks to the continued support of Troon, the United States Tennis Association (USTA), and the Sea Colony community, the Troon Pro Women’s Open at Sea Colony continues to bring world-class tennis to Bethany Beach. Running through Sunday, May 17, the tournament features top women’s singles and doubles players from around the world competing for valuable ranking points and a share of the $30,000 prize purse.
