Alejandro Justiniani, PPRÂ
Director of Racquet SportsÂ
Alex is a highly experienced PPR-certified professional, boasting over 30,000 hours of coaching in racquet sports. His dedication to coaching shines through every time you step onto the court with him. Despite his vast experience, Alex still actively competes in Pickleball tournaments, maintaining an impressive DUPR of 5.65. Since 2004, Alex has been an integral part of Sea Colony's rapid growth and development of pickleball and tennis.
Weston Butcher, PPR NEW FOR 2024
Head Pickleball ProfessionalÂ
Weston, a former Division I athlete, has channeled his love for sports into the rapidly growing game of pickleball. Previously serving as the Director of Summer Racquet Sports at George Washington University, Weston is now a PPR-certified pro and a top-tier 5.0+ level pickleball player, representing Team USA Pickleball. With extensive coaching experience and a knack for teaching, Weston excels at introducing clients to the game of pickleball.
Mike Sneller, PPRÂ

Mike Sneller is a PPR-certified coach known for his energetic and passionate approach to pickleball. He joined Sea Colony in 2008, initially focusing on tennis before discovering pickleball in 2020. Since then, Mike has immersed himself in the sport, participating in tournaments and offering private lessons, clinics, and camps at Sea Colony.

Josh Spiers comes to Sea Colony with 5 years of experience across all levels and ages. He has worked at Sea Colony since 2021 and his high energy and passion for the game is evident. He is PPR certified and is loving the growth of pickleball at Sea Colony.Â
Tim Boyer, PPR
Pickleball Professional/Camp CounselorÂ
After retiring from a career in IT Security in 2022, Tim Boyer settled in Frankford, Delaware, having owned a unit in Sea Colony for seven years. Initially a recreational tennis enthusiast, Tim discovered his passion for competitive pickleball shortly after retirement. With two years of PPR certification under his belt, he is currently in his second year as a Professional Pickleball Instructor at Sea Colony. Tim holds the title of reigning Delaware State Senior Olympic gold medalist and actively participates in tournaments across the Delmarva region.

Joe Bukartek, a committed PPR-certified pickleball coach, has fully integrated himself into the lively pickleball community at Sea Colony since moving with his family in 2022. Beyond his prowess on the court, Coach Joe holds certifications as a professional life coach and ultramarathoner, reflecting his unwavering energy and dedication in all facets of his life. His engaging approach extends beyond enhancing pickleball skills, aiming to empower individuals to achieve their utmost potential.
Thomas Johnston, PPR
Director of AthleticsÂ
Thomas serves as the Director of Athletics at Sea Colony, holding certification as a PPR Certified Professional. Earning a master's degree in sports psychology, he conducts seminars on the mental and strategic dimensions of various sports, including tennis, pickleball, and more. Additionally, Thomas has authored several articles on sports-related topics, showcasing his expertise and commitment to athletic development.
