1. How can I enter the Sea Colony Sandcastle Contest?

It’s easy! Make your best sand castle, take a picture of it, and send the photo to hayley.larsen@vacasa.com. Be sure to use “Sandcastle Contest” In the subject line. Include in the body of the email: your castle’s name, your last name, and contact information. There’s one submission per family, so send your favorite photo. 2. What is Sea Colony’s doing in response to the COVID-19 crisis?

Sea Colony is committed to a safe and enjoyable community experience. Each Sea Colony facility is operating with modifications to keep our community and staff safe. 3. Are there bikes available to rent or areas to store our own bikes if we bring them?

Bikes are available for rent at the Marketplace at Bethany Beach Good & Rentals (302-539-4922). Racks are also located at each building. Be sure to bring your own bike lock!

4. What pools will be open the month of September, 2020?

The indoor pools at the Freeman Fitness Center and at Edgewater House will be open, as well as the outdoor pool at the Aquatic Center. The beach will be guarded and the Aquatic Center will be open until October 12. Watch for updates, as the Edgewater outdoor pool (OP3) may also be open if staffing can be arranged. 5. Is fishing allowed at the little ponds around the resort? Do you need a license?

Each pond belongs to different Homeowner Associations within Sea Colony. Please observe the signs as some allow fishing and others do not. It’s all catch and release. The State of Delaware requires a license, which can be obtained at Hook'em & Cook'em Outfitters, just south of Sea Colony on route 1.
