Wind Turbine Concerns Addressed with State and Local Legislators by SCRA Board

During the December 7, 2019 Sea Colony Rec. Association Board Meeting, Roy Zatcoff, SCRA President, said a letter was sent to state and local legislators and others, expressing Sea Colony’s concerns with the proposed wind farm transmission lines/interconnection facility to be located in the Fenwick Island State Park and related proposed improvements to the Fenwick Island State Park. He said “Sea Colony has not been made aware, nor know much about the wind farm project…and its impact on Delaware and surrounding coastlines and towns.”

Letters were addressed to Delaware Governor John Carney, Raymond Bivens, Director of Delaware State Park, Senator Gerald Hocker, Town of Fenwick Island Council Members, Sussex County Council District 4 Member Doug Hudson, Sussex County Council District 5 Member John Rieley, DNREC Secretary Shawn Garvin, Delaware Representative District 38 Ron Gray, and Delaware Speaker of the House Peter Schwartzkopf.

So far there has been no response from any of the recipients.
